Doubt will definitely try to creep in when you are believing for something you know that God has shown you. But you can fight doubt with the truth that you know. Your faith will silence your doubt!

Cyndi, I really needed to hear this. I'm going through an intense battle between faith and unbelief concerning the child we're trying to adopt. Anyway, I've been reading a book on faith by Kenneth Hagin and he tells the whole story in detail about what happened the day he was healed of paralysis and a heart defect as a teenager. He talks about how he was standing on faith on Jesus' words in Mark 11:27, I think. But what I never took into account before in his story is that he was also hearing the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit told him how to receive his healing, and not long afterwards he was standing next to his bed, even though he had been paralyzed. So hearing from God is an essential part of receiving answer to prayer, like you said. -Kristin Kruse
